With the tearful walk down the aisle, special dance with grandma, and all 5 members of the family coming out for the father daughter dance, love exudes from their families. What a way to kick off our 2019 Wedding Season! Jeff & Jennifer's weekend on the Lake was, in a word, stunning! The romantic elegance and attention to detail stood out, but more importantly the warmth & laughter from these 2 shines through every photo!

Sam & I loved being able to capture that emotion and love for Jeff & Jenn…and they certainly let us feel the love at the end of the night, when we all shared an emotional goodbye after watching our Reception Screening that brought laughter & tears all around! This storybook wedding with a down-home country feel had it all...even a horse-drawn wagon ride! My favorite FUN moment of the night: when the father of the groom decided to let loose and have his sleeves cut off, in true country fashion, by the father of the bride!! My favorite SWEET moment of the day: when the mother of the groom gifted her new daughter-in-law a set of jewelry with the groom's birthstone that she bought when he was born =)

Yesterday's wedding was beyond gorgeous with its rustic elegance in every detail. But the reason it was this photographer's dream to be a part of, was to be the one to capture a second daughter's wedding that held such meaning to the family.  And at the end of the day, to be able to stand on the dance floor with the bride and her mother, watching our Reception Screening, and crying together at how much Rachel looked like her big sister Abby on her wedding day that we photographed 4 years ago.  Abby was remembered in so many ways yesterday with little touches, but her presence was felt largely in the hearts of Rachel's friends, family, and mine =)

Yesterday's wedding with Michael & Anne was not only held in 2 gorgeous venues (Heinz Chapel and The Pittsburgh Athletic Association), but it also was filled with love, laughter, and family traditions!  From standing on their chairs to kiss when guests cheered them at the Reception, every woman coming to kiss Michael on the cheek when Anne left the room during dinner, cutting TWO cakes (American & Danish), and cutting Michael's socks at the end of the night, so that Anne can prove herself a worthy wife by sewing them back together ;) If the traditions weren't enough to make your wedding beyond special, the constant love in your eyes for each other was!

The Stoltz Family knows how to throw a party!  Todd & Beth Stoltz planned a Reception that their 300+ family & friends will never forget to celebrate their oldest daughter, Becca, marrying her longtime, high school sweetheart, Josh =)  Pops of color, bling & all things that glitter were what brought the decor to LIFE!  Lots of love & joy among close friends & dear family members are what made moments so special. And a Neil Diamond impersonator and one of the best DJs in all of PA are what packed the dance floor all night long! ;)  A night to remember!!!

A Father's Day weekend that Ryan will never forget...yesterday Hilary married the love of her life. A sweet, kind, and caring man, who now is the stepfather to her 6 year old son, Caleb.  We got to spend time with these three last year for their Engagement Session and they were already the cutest little family back then, now it's just official ;) Caleb is a ham, hyper, and hilarious all rolled into one, but he is also one of the sweetest little boys I've met, especially when it comes to his momma ;) When we were playing our Reception Screening (a slideshow of photos from the ceremony & formal portraits played that night at the Reception!) he turned to Hilary and said, "They're really great photographers, Mom."  Well aren't you just the sweetest, buddy!  On our first official Father's Day, Sam & I hope your adorable family of 3 have a wonderful first Father's Day too =)

Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, what a dream of a venue! Getting married in a Tropical Forest...literally...that's what they call that wing in the conservatory ;) Dave & Jennifer exchanged personal vows about poetry and video games, standing in front of the lush backdrop of greenery and enjoyed their evening reception in front of a gorgeous sunset.  Standing beside them throughout the day was their 5 bridesmaids & 5 groomsmen, who amazingly, were all dating/married couples themselves! We did a fun "couples" photos with the 12 of them! ;) 

Such a lovely day for a truly, lovely couple =)
