Today, Tyler & Johanna celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary! This weekend, last year, they had a beautifully intimate ceremony with their closest family & friends. And yesterday, they celebrated a year of marriage with their official wedding reception! It was so special to relive & remember so many moments from Part 1 last year, including a reception replay of the highlight video we created for them last year! This year, there were unique touches, like Tyler helping Johanna get dressed this time around and the bridal party finally getting the chance to toast Tyler & Johanna’s marriage! But really, yesterday was all about having FUN at the reception, packing the dance floor and Photo Station all…night…long!!! Such a fun way to celebrate your 1st Anniversary!

WEDDING - Dan + Yvonne - Luthersburg, PA

As if Dan + Yvonne didn’t have enough to deal with this year when it came to wedding planning, the weather forecast decided to throw a hurricane into the mix! And in 14 years of shooting weddings, there aren’t many times we can remember the weather calling for 70% chance of rain & thunderstorms the night before the wedding AND THEN dropping down to 20% and cloudy when we woke up the next day!! Gorgeous blue skies, white fluffy clouds, and sunshine all day with about 5 minutes of rain during the ceremony, but that’s supposed to be good luck, right?! ;)

WEDDING - Tyler + Johanna - Clearfield, PA

Tyler & Johanna’s day was a perfect example of making a compromise in the face of all that’s happened in 2020. They decided to have an intimate ceremony this year and will have a full reception with family & friends next year on their 1st Anniversary…technically 1 day shy ;) No matter what our couples end up doing for their wedding, these special touches are what fill the day with love & emotion: Johanna and her sisters each wore a special piece of jewelry that was passed down from their late grandmother AND Tyler’s brother, who unfortunately couldn’t make it due to traveling circumstances, wrote a letter to the groom wishing him well on the big day <3

WEDDINGS - Josh Brittany - Falls Creek, PA

For our final wedding of 2015, you can't get many more Seasons crammed into one day than Josh & Brittany's big day had....a gorgeous Fall day with all the colors of the leaves turned, as you would expect, as well as a light dusting of snow throughout the day.....actually more like sleet directly before the Ceremony began and a white-out after it ended! But none of that mattered when it came time to walk down the aisle, because the sun was shining and blue skies were out =D No matter what Season the weather seemed to be showing, Josh & Brittany's wedding was truly one for the memory books!

John Jacquelyn Wedding - Treesdale Country Club, Gibsonia PA

My, oh my, this Saturday was drastically different from last weekend! We dropped a whopping 20 degrees in temperature. And while we played games with the drizzling rain during pre-ceremony portraits, the sun came out for John & Jacquelyn's back yard wedding!

After an intimate, 20 person ceremony, filled with tears and an emotional vow exchange, we couldn't wait to make our way to Treesdale Country Club ;) Comfy, cozy inside for the rest of the evening, more of John & Jacquelyn's friends & family joined them for a simply elegant Reception!
