After 10+ years as a couple, Tom & Candice FINALLY ("finally" according to their family member toasts) had their BIG DAY ;) Their wedding was traditional, simple, and FUN...just like Tom & Candice!

Here, I would normally say something sweet about the couple, but instead I will share what Sam pointed out last night when we were driving home..."I can tell that they are a couple who's going to make it. When I was shooting video of them today, anytime you had them change poses or adjusted something, they kept smiling. I could really tell that they are best friends."

Ethan & Megan's wedding was breathtaking. A photographer's dream of details: each & every one of the 28 centerpieces a unique creation, gorgeous drapery from floor to ceiling, a cake table like you've never seen before, and a ribbon wall & skeleton key escort cards to welcome you into it all.

Yesterday was such a fun time for Sam & I, as we celebrated Corey & Tiffany's wedding with not one, but TWO, former RA brides in the Bridal Party! One of which is now a photographer herself and there was even another bridesmaid/photographer too! Fun to share the day with two other ladies who understand my excitement when the sun goes behind a cloud during the big group Bridal Party photo ;)

I'm sure they would have loved to have their cameras out too when I got to capture STUNNING photos of Corey & Tiffany at a lovely pond & wheelhouse setting...just gorgeous =) See for yourself below!

Nathan Jamie Wedding - Beechwoods Golf Course, Falls Creek

SO MUCH FUN! We loved our time spent with Nathan & Jamie yesterday =D

I wonder if part of that is because our personalities are so similar! Groom, Nate, and I are both organized & meticulous, want to make sure everything goes according to plan...if you know me, you know that's me and if you know Nate, you probably think the same about him! Now bride, Jamie, and my hubby, Sam...quiet at first, but once you get to know them, watch out! They are kind, fun-loving and can't help but make you smile ;)

So I guess when you relate to a couple so well, you can't help but have a great time spending the day with them! ;) And I'm pretty sure that super sweet family members (mom & sister of the Groom!), vintage cars, gorgeous blue skies, a rocking dance floor, and pops of blue & purple everywhere you look, made this wedding even more enjoyable!

Mike Jessica Wedding - Bellamauro Social Hall, Reynoldsville

Sam & I get excited for this wedding every year...wait...that doesn't make sense ;)

Starting back in 2012, we shot the wedding of fun-loving Zach & Maria =) A week after their wedding, Zach's sister, Cassie, booked us for her Summer 2013 wedding! And a few months after that, another bridesmaid, Karen, booked us for her Fall 2013 wedding!! And another bridesmaid from Maria's wedding, the lovely, Jessica, got married yesterday!!!

So every year, it's a family reunion!
We get to see our wedding couples loving life as newlyweds
and the happy parents celebrating with family & friends...
all the hugs & laughter we get throughout the wedding day
make Sam & I feel like we're part of the Family too =)

While I'm excited to see which bridesmaid's wedding is next on our calendar...Casey, Ali, Reese ;) ...I am even more excited to show you THIS YEAR'S family wedding with Mike & Jessica! Jess and her Mom put so much effort into the details & decor...everything was simply beautiful!

Mark Angela Wedding - Lakeview Lodge, Treasure Lake

Yesterday's bride, Angela, told me a while back that her wedding was going to be a glittery, rainbow theme and she did not disappoint! Alternating chair sash colors, chandeliers adorned with shimmery tulle, crystal beads draped from the nearly 4-foot tall centerpieces, a sparkling cake taller than I've ever seen, and BLING everywhere you looked =D

When a bride has DIY on the mind and goes all out to execute, she's a girl after my own heart ;)

Josh Megan Wedding Weekend - Gateway Lodge, Cooksburg PA

We are officially back into the swing of things here at Rachel Anne's Photography with our first wedding of the Spring Season and our very FIRST post on the new RA blog & website ;)

Josh & Megan invited us to photograph their entire Wedding Weekend, beginning with the Rehearsal Friday, then the Wedding on Saturday, and ending with, one of my favorites, a Newlywed Photo Shoot on Sunday!

It was a lovely weekend nestled in the woods of Cook Forrest at the Gateway Lodge. An intimate wedding with 50 or so of Josh & Megan's closest friends & family, with personal touches everywhere to be seen: blue satin stilettos, floral Etsy bridesmaid robes, baby's breath placed here & there, and even personalized matching Converse Sneakers for the bride & groom.

What a fabulous weekend to kick off our Wedding Season here at Rachel Anne's Photography!
