What a way to end our 2018 Wedding Season! Fabulous dress, flawless styling & decor, and fantastic couple =) The rain held off before the ceremony, allowing us to capture every moment of love & laughter with their friends & family! And even when it’s raining, we always make it work ;) After the ceremony, we captured stunning photos under a local stone bridge (I’m pretty sure 1 of my favorite photos of the entire Season is in that bunch!!) Craig & April were a true joy, SO MUCH laughing had during our meetings and the entire wedding day. Pairing that with all things fabulous from their day and I’d say we closed this Wedding Season pretty perfectly =)

A sprinkle of rain on your wedding day is supposed to bring good luck...well, how about a day-long downpour?! Sam & I don't think we noticed it stopped raining a single time yesterday for Josh & Cassie's wedding. And while that changed the ceremony location from outdoors to in, we made sure we did what we could to capture the gorgeous greenery of their venue regardless! The sprinkling of rain held off until just after the outdoor ceremony at yesterday's wedding.  Which was perfect, because there was a LOT OF FUN to be had inside at the Reception (just look at the dance floor pictures and you'll see what I mean!) This storybook wedding with a down-home country feel had it all...even a horse-drawn wagon ride! My favorite FUN moment of the night: when the father of the groom decided to let loose and have his sleeves cut off, in true country fashion, by the father of the bride!! My favorite SWEET moment of the day: when the mother of the groom gifted her new daughter-in-law a set of jewelry with the groom's birthstone that she bought when he was born =)

11 years ago, I was a Youth Group leader at Tri County Church and started with a new group of teen girls for the school year.  Little did I know that one of those girls would not only transition from being a youth student to a youth leader by my side, but even further down the road, I would be photographing her wedding =) What a joy, honor, and privilege.  Love you bunches, Jordan and I am so excited to see the joy & love in your eyes ALL DAY yesterday as you married the man of your prayers!!!

Yesterday's wedding was beyond gorgeous with its rustic elegance in every detail. But the reason it was this photographer's dream to be a part of, was to be the one to capture a second daughter's wedding that held such meaning to the family.  And at the end of the day, to be able to stand on the dance floor with the bride and her mother, watching our Reception Screening, and crying together at how much Rachel looked like her big sister Abby on her wedding day that we photographed 4 years ago.  Abby was remembered in so many ways yesterday with little touches, but her presence was felt largely in the hearts of Rachel's friends, family, and mine =)

WEDDINGS - Michael & Anne - Heinz Chapel, Pittsburgh PA

Yesterday's wedding with Michael & Anne was not only held in 2 gorgeous venues (Heinz Chapel and The Pittsburgh Athletic Association), but it also was filled with love, laughter, and family traditions!  From standing on their chairs to kiss when guests cheered them at the Reception, every woman coming to kiss Michael on the cheek when Anne left the room during dinner, cutting TWO cakes (American & Danish), and cutting Michael's socks at the end of the night, so that Anne can prove herself a worthy wife by sewing them back together ;) If the traditions weren't enough to make your wedding beyond special, the constant love in your eyes for each other was!
