Brandon & Chelise's wedding day was relaxed and smooth, while being simply beautiful. Unique touches of wooden decor included the cake stand, guest book, favor holders, flower box centerpieces, and cookie table chargers! All so rustic & gorgeous =)

Read MoreFor our final wedding of 2015, you can't get many more Seasons crammed into one day than Josh & Brittany's big day had....a gorgeous Fall day with all the colors of the leaves turned, as you would expect, as well as a light dusting of snow throughout the day.....actually more like sleet directly before the Ceremony began and a white-out after it ended! Read MoreA Father's Day weekend that Ryan will never forget...yesterday Hilary married the love of her life. A sweet, kind, and caring man, who now is the stepfather to her 6 year old son, Caleb. We got to spend time with these three last year for their Engagement Session and they were already the cutest little family back then, now it's just official ;) Caleb is a ham, hyper, and hilarious all rolled into one, but he is also one of the sweetest little boys I've met, especially when it comes to his momma ;) When we were playing our Reception Screening (a slideshow of photos from the ceremony & formal portraits played that night at the Reception!) he turned to Hilary and said, "They're really great photographers, Mom." Well aren't you just the sweetest, buddy! On our first official Father's Day, Sam & I hope your adorable family of 3 have a wonderful first Father's Day too =)

Getting married in a Tropical Forest...literally...that's what they call that wing in the conservatory ;) Dave & Jennifer exchanged personal vows about poetry and video games, standing in front of the lush backdrop of greenery and enjoyed their evening reception in front of a gorgeous sunset. Standing beside them throughout the day was their 5 bridesmaids & 5 groomsmen, who amazingly, were all dating/married couples themselves! We did a fun "couples" photos with the 12 of them! ;)

There were pops of purple & green everywhere you looked, along with big blue skies and a shining sun when it called for rain =) We couldn't help but have our bridal party dip their toes in the water and relax on the docks for some photos ;)

Read MoreMy, oh my, this Saturday was drastically different from last weekend! We dropped a whopping 20 degrees in temperature. And while we played games with the drizzling rain during pre-ceremony portraits, the sun came out for John & Jacquelyn's back yard wedding!
After an intimate, 20 person ceremony, filled with tears and an emotional vow exchange, we couldn't wait to make our way to Treesdale Country Club ;) Comfy, cozy inside for the rest of the evening, more of John & Jacquelyn's friends & family joined them for a simply elegant Reception!

They chatted with us throughout the day, we cracked jokes together during the Reception, and, what happened as we were leaving the Reception is now one of my favorite family moments at a wedding: mother of the Bride, Joanne, grabbed my face with both hands, told me we had done an amazing job, wished us well for our little one ;) and gave me a true, European-style, double-cheek kiss! =D
Read MoreYesterday's wedding with Mark & Alex was a lovely wedding...that I, quite frankly, wasn't sure whether it would happen or not.
Just one month ago, the mother of bride, Alex, unexpectedly passed away. When I first heard the news from Alex, she was explaining why she hadn't got back to me about scheduling her Photo Checklist prep meeting. I couldn't believe what I was reading, in regards to what happened and in the thought that the wedding was still on, just two weeks later.
But Alex, as confirmed during her sister's speech, is a strong woman. And yesterday's wedding was filled with joy, as well as moments of remembrance: roses respectfully laid on the chair her mother would have been sitting on during the ceremony, a memorial toast given by groom Mark with not a dry eye in the house, and two Memorial Wall Art pieces that Mark asked us to design as a surprise, first to display at the wedding and then to give as a gift to his new wife and sister-in-law.
Such a lovely wedding indeed.
